The Junior Ohio Business Fellows recently toured six Austin, Texas companies that have Ohio University connections. They toured Norwood, Inc., a promotional company owned by Frank and Margaret Krasovec who last year made a record-setting gift of over $20 million to the College; Motorola University, where they were hosted by College of Engineering alumnus Todd Beekman; Dell Computer’s high-security manufacturing facility, where they were hosted by OU College of Engineering alumnus Steve Krebs; international fashion designer Susan Dell’s shop in Austin; Evolutionary Technologies, Inc., where they were hosted by CEO Kay Hammer, who is a senior policy fellow for the Voinovich Center; and LoneStar Direct Marketing, where they met with CEO Kelsey August, a 1991 alumna of the College of Business and the youngest female entrepreneur to have her company named to INC. Magazine’s fastest growing company list.
